Joss Whedon, the executive producer of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," first thought of Sarah Michelle Gellar as the character of Cordelia. That, of course, changed. Joss says, "But after she [Gellar] read, it quickly became apparent that she was the one."

I was able to catch the last 20 minutes of an AOL chat with Juliet Landau (Dru) today. I sent my question in, and it actually got answered. Here's what was typed:
AsylumLive: Sugar80 says you do a fantastic job.
AsylumLive: What is something surprising that people don't know about you?
AsylumLive: Surprising.
AsylumLive: >> Juliet: surprising. Hmm. I feel so boring. What's surprising.
AsylumLive: >> Matt: I'll help. I think what was surprising is you take out your trash with your teeth in. That's surprising.
AsylumLive: >> Juliet: that's just because I wanted to get used to it, so I kept them in. Can you just see people following me around, "she wears teeth to the garbage!" Not always. Maybe -- I lived in England as a kid for four years, and not a lot of people know that, which -- I'm English on the show. It's been really cool.
AsylumLive: >> Matt: how long did you live there?
AsylumLive: >> Juliet: for four years.
AsylumLive: >> Matt: so you have to think back all the way back to your childhood?
AsylumLive: >> Juliet: no, I worked on it, but it definitely was a part of my childhood.
--And something that I didn't ask, but is interesting to know:
AsylumLive: >> Juliet: I'm sort of a health-food fanatic, not a fanatic, but I eat really, really healthy, so I don't eat cookies.

No fun fact.

David Boreanaz was chatting on AOL May 20. Here are some highlights:
In regards to his return to Buffy next season:
DBoreanz: Yes, don't worry about it I'm not going anywhere. Buffy didn't kill me, she just sent me to Hell.
His comments on the new Angel spin-off:
DBoreanz: It's going to be an extension of Buffy, that will be in fall '99
and will take place in LA and I will be back visiting Buffy and vice versa.
Josh wrote it as a type of chronicle, but the two shows will be intertwined.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer trading cards are being made. They should be out in a few months.
